Do you enjoy the frosty days?

Does it bring thoughts of snuggling up in big warm jumper and clasping a cup of hot chocolate, curling up to watch TV? Or does it fill you with dread to think of the weeks ahead?

These darker, colder, often wetter days can be hard to navigate for anyone, and if you’re already having a difficult time, they can further affect your mood.

It’s hard to motivate ourselves when the skies are less blue and it’s cold, but it is time when we need to ensure we take extra care of ourselves. It is good to increase our time spent with others, not locked away on our own - it’s a time when we need to continue seeking out beauty, being in nature, going for a walk despite the weather, even if their is no point and you have nowhere to go - go anyway - it will increase your positive hormones and lift your spirit. Turn on happy music and dance, sing, watch comedy, hug a tree - whatever you need to do, do it - take care of yourself, love yourself enough. Don’t give into the weather - rise above, one moment at a time.
